Instructor Bio 구나영 Gu Na-young is a distinguished Korean traditional dancer whose career spans more than four decades of performance, teaching, and leadership. She graduated from the Dance Department at Hansung University in 1984 and went on to complete her graduate studies at Chung-Ang University in 1996. In 2000 she joined the faculty of Hansung University as a lecturer — a reflection of the respect she commands within her field. For over twenty years, from 1983 to 2004, she served as training director of the Incheon Metropolitan Dance Company, where she guided and shaped countless professional dancers. She currently leads as director of the Hanye Dance Company, continuing a lifelong dedication to the art form and to the students who carry it forward.
