The Koreatown Art Center (KTAC), formerly the Korean Traditional Dance Institute of California, was founded in 2016 by dance loving people with a desire to preserve and share traditional Korean culture.

In 2017, KTDIC became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit establishing its role as a community leader in maintaining and promoting the rich art form of traditional Korean dance and music.

Today, KTAC strives to educate the public, serve the local community and beyond, and facilitate international cultural exchange by learning, sharing, and creating various forms of dance, music, and art. KTAC is able to continue its important work at its studio in Los Angeles and performances around the world thanks to the efforts of its members, donors, and the dance community.
