Class Experience

Discover the grace and rhythm of Korea's dance heritage from the ground up. This welcoming class introduces foundational movements and forms — no experience needed. Instructor Bio Lee Mi-jung is a seasoned Korean traditional dancer with twenty years of performance experience both in Korea and abroad. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Yongin University, where she also served as a special guest lecturer — a testament to the esteem in which she is held in her field. Her artistry has been recognized at major competitions, including a Bronze Award at the Yukwansoon Dance Festival and a Grand Prize at the Chumddri National Dance Competition. She has been a member of Inhu Dance Company and has served as a guidance committee member at the Korea Traditional Dance Institute. She is also an officially designated inheritor of the Handkerchief Dance (Sugeoncheom) of Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province, a traditional form she is committed to preserving for future generations.
